DCP 12V UPS Battery

Both 12V 7Ah and 12V 9Ah are Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) / AGM rechargeable batteries commonly used in small UPS systems, emergency lights, and alarm panels. They share the same voltage and physical dimensions, meaning they are largely interchangeable inside many standard UPS compartments. • Capacity & Runtime: A 9Ah battery stores more energy than a 7Ah battery, which translates to a slightly longer backup runtime. • Voltage & Compatibility: Both operate at 12V. You can usually replace a 7Ah battery with a 9Ah battery in the same UPS housing if the physical dimensions match your battery bay, providing a minor bump in backup time. • Max Discharge Current: 9Ah batteries generally handle slightly higher peak discharge currents (e.g., ~127.5A vs ~105A for 5-second bursts on some standard models like Castle Battery).
